ChartMods is a browser extension that shows a background behind TradingView charts. This policy explains what happens to your information when you use the ChartMods extension and this website.

What we collect

Nothing. The ChartMods extension has no accounts, analytics, ads or trackers, and it doesn't send any data to us or anyone else.

What stays on your computer

• Your settings (chosen background, dim, blur, strength, speed and similar), saved in your browser's extension storage.
• Images and videos you add as backgrounds, saved in your browser's local extension database. They are never uploaded.

TradingView pages

ChartMods runs only on tradingview.com chart pages, and only to draw the background. It does not read your symbols, watchlists, orders, positions or account, does not place trades, and does not change your TradingView settings.

This website

chartmods.com does not use cookies or analytics. Our hosting provider (Vercel) may keep standard server logs, such as IP addresses, for security and reliability. The "Your own image" preview runs entirely in your browser; your file is never uploaded.

Payments

If you buy a paid ChartMods plan, payment is handled by our payment provider, which acts as the merchant of record and processes your payment details under its own privacy policy. We receive your email and purchase details so we can give you access and provide support. We never see your full card number.

Removing your data

Uninstalling ChartMods deletes everything it stored on your computer. To ask about any purchase data we hold, email support@chartmods.com.

If this policy changes, we'll update the date on this page.
